Compatto, Aster novi-belgii 'Chatterbox' (New York Aster) presenta masse di grandi fiori semi-doppi, rosa pallido lilla con petali a raggi stretti. Nati su steli sottili e ramificati con foglie a forma di lancia, grigio-verde, fioriscono per settimane fine estate a metà autunno e ravviva qualsiasi angolo soleggiato del giardino. Originario del Nord America, questo Aster nano è facile da coltivare, di lunga durata, porta un allegro colore autunnale, in bordi o contenitori, ed è un'ottima fonte di nettare per le farfalle.
- Cresce tipicamente con un'abitudine eretta e folta, fino a 14-16 pollici di altezza e larghezza (35-40 cm). Resistente a cervi e conigli!
