Una cultivar fucsia molto versatile, la pluripremiata "Tom West" fucsia è un arbusto vigoroso, eretto, deciduo, noto per il suo sorprendente fogliame variegato e i suoi graziosi fiori. Le foglie verdi sono splendidamente rigate di crema e adornate con venature e steli di ciliegia. Diventano più rossi al sole, creando uno spettacolo accattivante prima che compaiano i fiori. Fiorisce dall'inizio dell'estate all'autunno, una profusione di piccole e medie dimensioni, i singoli fiori invocano la nostra attenzione, con i loro tubi e sepali carminio e corolle viola.
